AKB Frontnews

AKB Frontnews displays a dynamic selection of Joomla articles in a range of editorial layouts. Use it to bring recent updates to your homepage, highlight featured stories or create article sections focused on specific topics.

Select articles by category and tag, set the number to display and choose their ordering. You can include featured articles, exclude them or display only featured content. When the module appears on an article page, it can also exclude the article currently being read.

Choose a presentation that suits your content: regular grids, compositions that give greater prominence to the first articles, a leading article followed by a grid, or a list with images beside the text. Overlay variants are available for selected layouts.

With AKB Frontnews, you can:

• Select content dynamically: filter Joomla articles by categories and tags.
• Control the article selection: configure the number, ordering and treatment of featured articles.
• Choose an editorial layout: use grids, featured compositions, horizontal lists or supported overlay variants.
• Select the article image: display the introductory image, full article image or no image.
• Configure article details: show or hide the title, category, author, date and introductory text.
• Guide visitors to the full story: enable linked titles and images, and display read-more links.
• Adjust text presentation: choose the title heading level and optionally limit introductory text.
• Add context around the articles: include descriptions above and below the selection, with independent background and text settings.

Frontnews draws its content from Joomla’s article system, allowing your editorial sections to reflect the articles that match your configured filters as you publish and update them.
