AKB Estela
Module Accordion
Joomla 5.4.x - 6.x
Make detailed information easier to browse with AKB Estela, a Joomla accordion module for custom content, articles and existing modules. Organise information into expandable sections, customise their appearance and choose whether the first panel starts open. Ideal for FAQs, service details and practical guides.
AKB Estela organises related content into expandable accordion panels, allowing visitors to open the information they need while keeping the page compact and easy to navigate. Use it for frequently asked questions, service details, instructions, specifications or any content that benefits from clearly separated sections.
Choose one content source for each module instance: content entered directly through the Joomla editor, selected Joomla articles or existing Joomla modules. Accordion sections are managed as repeatable items, making it easy to add, remove and reorganise your content.
When displaying Joomla articles, Estela can include the article image, title and introductory text. The introduction can be limited to a defined length and an optional Read More link can lead visitors to the complete article.
Each accordion heading can be styled for its normal, hover and open states, while the content panels have their own background and text colour options. Responsive padding, rounded corners and optional shadows provide additional control over the overall appearance.
With AKB Estela, you can:
- Create expandable content sections: organise related information into repeatable accordion items.
- Choose your content source: use editor content, selected Joomla articles or existing Joomla modules.
- Control the initial state: open the first panel automatically or start with all sections closed.
- Style accordion headings: configure alignment, spacing and separate text and background colours for normal, hover and open states.
- Customise content panels: set panel background and text colours independently from the headings.
- Configure responsive spacing: define shared inner padding separately for desktop, tablet and phone.
- Present article previews: display the article image, title and introduction, with an optional text limit and Read More link.
- Embed Joomla modules: place existing published modules inside individual accordion sections.
- Add introductory and closing content: include formatted content before and after the accordion, with optional colours or background images.
- Refine the overall appearance: add rounded corners, custom shadows and additional CSS when required.
Estela is a practical way to present detailed information without making pages feel overloaded, keeping related topics together while allowing visitors to explore each section individually.
