AKB Athena

AKB Athena is a flexible Joomla module for creating custom content sections, promotional blocks and responsive groups of content directly from the module settings. Use it for introductions, services, features, team sections, promotional cards or any layout that combines text, images and links.

Athena can work as a single content block or as a group of repeatable items. In group mode, each item can contain its own image, formatted content and link, while the module organizes them into responsive columns with separate settings for desktop, tablet and phone.

Choose between a traditional grid or a horizontal scrolling view, define the number of visible columns and adjust the spacing between items. Optional introductory and closing content can also be added before and after the group.

The classic layout lets you place images above, below or beside the content, with adjustable proportions for side-by-side compositions. You can also combine editor content with a separate text area or create text-only sections.

For more visual layouts, overlay mode places editorial content over the image and lets you control its position, maximum width and opacity. Separate hover settings make it possible to create interactive transitions and promotional effects.

With AKB Athena, you can:

• Create single sections or content groups: use one standalone composition or manage multiple repeatable items within the same module.
• Create responsive column layouts: choose from 1 to 6 columns independently for desktop, tablet and phone.
• Choose grid or scrolling presentation: display items in a traditional responsive grid or in a horizontal scrolling layout.
• Combine images and content: place images above, below, left or right of the editorial content and control their proportions.
• Create overlay compositions: position content over images and define different placement and opacity settings for normal and hover states.
• Add introductory and closing content: place editorial content before or after a group of items.
• Customize the appearance: control text and background colours, hover states, responsive padding, rounded corners and shadows.
• Add calls to action: link individual content to Joomla menu items or external URLs, with custom text and alignment.
• Style links and buttons: configure text colours, backgrounds, borders and hover states.
• Fine-tune the module: adjust column gaps and use custom CSS when additional styling is required.

From a simple text-and-image section to a complete row of promotional cards, services or features, Athena provides a flexible way to create responsive content directly within Joomla module management.
